SUP yoga… Our day of “Stand Up Paddle Boarding”
What an amazing weekend we just had. Rob and I were lucky enough on our honeymoon to try what is being touted as the fastest growing sport – Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP). We just loved it. We were able to take lessons in St Lucia at The Body Holiday and we were even lucky enough to go on a SUP tour to Smugglers Cove. It was amazing. Crystal clear water, fresh air, and sunlight. Rob and I were hooked.
This Saturday we decided to see if Thomas would be interested as well, so we made arrangements to surprise him with a SUP yoga session. Fortunately we had a beautiful bay here on Georgian Bay, and we saw many paddle boarders out enjoying the sport and soaking up the suns rays. Well, it was amazing, and surprise surprise…Thomas just loved it! They included an SUP trainer, which was great, and so Thomas was able to gain more understanding on how to maneuver the board. Then, guess who won a free lesson…yep, Thomas, aka the Kale Monster. Lol

If you ever have an opportunity, this is an amazing sport and a great workout. A big thanks to Shirlee from Buddha Rider for arranging this adventure!!!
